About the Role
At Hyperhex, we are building the next generation of real-time data visualization platforms. We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer who is passionate about building scalable, high-performance web applications that make complex data intuitive.
You’ll be joining a mission-driven team of engineers and designers who value technical excellence, user-centric design, and cross-functional collaboration. As a senior member of the Engineering team, you will influence our architectural decisions and mentor junior developers.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the design and development of complex features across our React/Node.js stack.
- Optimize our data visualization engine to handle millions of data points in real-time.
- Architect scalable backend services and APIs using TypeScript and PostgreSQL.
- Participate in code reviews, design docs, and sprint planning to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Design to translate requirements into technical reality.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in professional software development.
- Expertise in React.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong backend experience with Node.js and RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
- Deep understanding of database design and optimization (SQL/NoSQL).
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
Bonus Points
- Experience with WebGL, D3.js, or Three.js.
- Contributions to open-source software.
- Previous experience in a high-growth startup environment.
